On the 28 October 2022, Central Gaming Management (Pty) Ltd trading as Tic Tac rolled out it’s seventh (07) Bookmaker Premises, licensed in terms of the provisions of Section 57 to operate bookmaker license at shop No 01A, 01B & 02, Rustenburg Plaza, Cnr Nelson Mandela & President Mbeki Drive, Rustenburg.
In terms of the conditions issued to the Licensee by the Board, the licensee is required to establish ten (10) bookmaker premises in the Province.
The licensee is further expected to allocate and spend ten percent (10%) or more of the procurement spent for all goods and services, excluding gaming equipment, on suppliers domiciled in the North West province which are predominantly black owned. This spent will benefit the entire North West Province.
The said shop was opened with a staff complement of eighteen (18) employees comprising of 12 black women and 06 black men which are all youth. The black people and youth working for the entity, who are also from the area will benefit in terms of skills development.
Tic Tac envisages to be a place of choice for its customers as stated Mr Kgaleng Serodi, who holds that a flouring business comes on the back of good customer service. “I hope to improve customer service weekly by listening to the customer complaints, attending to these complaints, and training staff on a weekly basis to improve on customer services.” He said.
These new Bookmaker premises will help the Board with fighting illegal gambling which steals millions of revenues from the provincial fiscus.
